PBIS- Be Cyber Safe—Age for Social Media Accounts is 13?

Parents, did you know that the minimum age to open an account on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Kik and Snapchat is 13?  One way for you to help your child remain cyber safe and avoid cyber bullying is to adhere to the minimum age requirements for social media. Campus Safety

This is a loving reminder that although the campus is open after school for pick up, dogs are not permitted on campus.  Please honor and respect the safety and security of others.  Thank you.

PTA Elections

PTA election are coming up!  If you’d like to be considered for nomination for an Executive Officer position, your nomination form must be turned into the main office no later than February 10th. All nominees must be current paid members of the Association.


Don’t want to run for office but want to participate in the process?  In order to vote at our monthly meetings, you must be a paid member.  Membership forms are available in the main office under the counter.  For more information, please contact Laura Martinez at  Your membership form and payment of just $10 must be turned in by our next PTA meeting, February 20th in order to vote for the Executive Officers in March.  No exceptions.   


Black Youth Guidance Forum 2/10

I would like to invite you to mark your calendars and register for a free event at CSUN- The 3rd Annual Black Youth Guidance Forum where I will be one of the keynote speakers on February 10th.  I would love to see my Topeka family there.


Attendance 97% or better for each student

Finally, congratulations to the classes who had an average of 97% or better attendance rate.  The students and teachers in those classrooms were awarded free tickets to a CSUN basketball game!  Thanks to CSUN Athletics for their partnership.
