Good evening families, this is Mrs. Stevens, with this week’s Sunday Minute!



Thank you to The Los Angeles RAMS for coming out and doing a Play 60 Tour assembly with our students.  Rampage and the team encouraged us to take care of our health and remember to get out and play for at least 60 minutes. 


Red Ribbon Week 10/22-10/26

This week is Red Ribbon Week-  Let’s support a drug free society.

Monday:                   Put a cap on drugs- Hat Day

Tuesday:                   Wear Red day

Wednesday:            Put a sock on drugs- Wear RED Socks

Thursday:                  Be on a drug-free team- Wear your favorite team gear

Friday:                        Shade out drugs- Wear sunglasses


School Experience Survey Begins October 29th

The School Experience Survey is returning October 29th.  The oldest student in the house will be bringing home instructions to complete the School Experience Survey.  We really want to hear what your thoughts are, so please make some time to fill out the paper survey or the online survey at and input the 10-digit parent code found on the top right corner of the parent letter.  Please print your confirmation or return the paper survey to school.  When you do, your child’s name will be entered in a prize drawing!


Boo Grams are Back!

Want to send a fun Fall message to your friends?  Well, Boo-Grams are back.  Look for them to be sold before school, during lunch, and after school.  Send a gram and support 5th grade.  Please see the e-backpack for more details.


Governance Council Committee Meetings 10/25 @ 2:45PM

Join us this Thursday October 25th at 2:45PM for our Governance Council Meeting, in room 28.  Come hear about the California Dashboard Indicators, committee reports, and make some governing decisions.


Trunk or Treat Fall Festival Friday 10/26 5:00PM-9:00PM

Friday October 26th, you are invited to our Fall Festival to be held from 5:00PM to 9:00PM.  That evening come dressed in your costumes and trick or treat, while viewing decorated cars.  There will be food and carnival style games, sponsored by the 5th grade PTA Committee—cash only please.
