Good evening. This is Mrs. Stevens, with this week’s Sunday Minute!

Notice of Street Work- Tuesday March 19th

Families the City of Los Angeles, Department of Public Works, Bureau of Street Services will be performing a slurry seal application on Labrador Street.  This surface treatment prolongs the life of the pavement by stopping asphalt erosion caused by water and oxidation from the sun.  The city has scheduled this work to happen on March 19th, beginning at 7:00AM.  Although, my team has requested that the work begin at 8:30am, after morning drop off, neither I nor LAUSD, control the operations of the city.  Please be advised and be sure to adhere to the temporary no parking signs.

This city work will affect the morning valet.  Should they shut down Labrador street, valet service will be offered on Superior street only.  However, all gates will be open as usual for those families that walk or park, on the other available streets, in order to walk their students to the entrances.
