Sunday Minute – March 24, 2019

Good evening. This is Mrs. Stevens, with this week’s Sunday Minute!

Monday, PTA 5th Grade Sees Candy Sale Begins

Our 5th graders will be fundraising by selling Sees Candy.  The proceeds from this fundraiser directly supports the activities of our 5th grade students as the culminate their elementary years.  Although the money goes directly to those events, this fundraiser indirectly affects the school community as a whole by providing you with great candy, should you choose to order, and it continues a Topeka tradition that all younger grade students are looking forward to.  So please connect with a 5th grader to buy some sweets for your Sweet.

Tuesday, 3/26 @ 12:50-1:20PM

There will be a follow up DVR Special Education Parent meeting this Tuesday, March 26th at 12:50PM.  We look forward to sharing results and collaborating with you.

Minimum Day Friday 3/29 early dismissal 12:33PM

Parents, please note that students will be dismissed at 12:33PM on Friday, March 29th, as it is a minimum day- set aside for teacher professional development.

PBIS—Be SAFE

Finally, students this week we will continue our focus on ‘BEING SAFE’.  Part of being safe is making sure that YOU are a safe friend.  Use your words to uplift each other and spread kindness.  You don’t have to be besties with everyone, but let’s be sure to take care of each other starting with our words.

That’s it for this week’s news from school!  Have a tigerrific evening!
