Sunday Minute – March 3, 2019
Good evening. This is Mrs. Stevens, with this week’s Sunday Minute!
Parents, as you know communication is key to partnership. I want to remind you that there are multiple ways that we (your partners in your child’s education) communicate with you. This weekly message in both voice and written email form, along with our weekly eBackpack are two ways that we keep you up to date and informed. Both of these types of communication are directly emailed to you and available on our website in the ‘announcement’ box at the top right hand corner of the site. Please frequent these forms of communication so that you are aware of school schedules, events, due dates and any changes. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Thank you for a Successful Black History Month
Topeka family, I want to thank you all for such a successful Black History Month. Our students learned so much about American History and how some very stellar African American people contributed to the strength of our nation. Thank you to the teachers for leading the instruction. Thank you to Mrs. Castagnola, Mrs. Shnorhokian, Mrs. Silva, Mrs. Croft, and Mrs. Reynolds for your parts in organizing actives and our showcase. Finally, thank you to the parents and grandparents who came in to share their knowledge and read to our students. It was truly a community affair!
