Candy Land Family Dance & Silent Auction Friday
Once again our Family Dance was a blast! Thank you to Miss Crissy Silva for leading the team of volunteers. Thank you to all of the families for coming out, dancing, and dining. Finally, thank you to Mrs. Jennifer Grooms for leading the Silent Auction and team of volunteers.
Teacher Appreciation & Scholastic Book Fair
This week is also jammed packed with more love and fun. It’s Teacher Appreciation week and our Scholastic Book Fair. There’s always a little something for everyone.
Open House Thursday, May 2nd 5:30PM-7:15PM
We are looking forward to having ALL of our families as our honored guests this Thursday at Open House. We will begin in the auditorium at 5:30PM. Parent parking will be available on campus. Please prepare to enter through the Superior Street gate.
Principals of the Day
On Thursday, let’s all welcome Ellie and Logan Fazzone as the Principals of the Day, and on Friday, May 3rd Madison Colbert will be serving as the Principal of the Day.
5th Grade PTA Donut Day Friday May 3rd
Krispy Kreme donut day is back this Friday. Please see the ebackpack for your pre-order form. Students and families, please remember the donuts are sold to parents only and students are not permitted to bring them on campus during the instructional day.
City Street Work week of 4/29-5/3
Staff and parents, please note that there will be more street work done around the perimeter of our school this week 4/29-5/3. This work will effect travel on Vanalden, Topeka, Superior, Labrador, Donna, and Wystone
Computer Lab Club Finished for the Year as of 4/29
Starting tomorrow the computer lab after school club will be closed for the rest of the school year, in order to do end of the year maintenance and repair.
Character Counts Thank you
A special thank you to the mother of Samyar and Savina of room 15 for donating and making our character counts treasure box come alive again! Also, thank you to Mrs. Hamlin and her husband for also contributing to our rewards and incentives for our students.
Students, this week we will continue to focus on Being Clean. Be sure to check the Lost and Found for your items before we clean it out Friday.
