Big Thank You from the Silent Auction Committee
A message from the Silent Auction Committee: We would like to give a big ‘Thank YOU’ to the Room Parent’s and families that created and donated the remarkable classroom baskets for the Silent Auction, they were awesome, especially Mrs. Kim’s painting! Also, a special thanks to the organizations and families that donated. Lastly, with the little over $4,000 raised, PTA will be contributing to technology upgrades and assisting our school in becoming a 1:1 device school. Please see the email and the website for the names of specific identified families who contributed.

NO SCHOOL MONDAY!
In honor of Memorial Day, there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, May 27th.
Principals of the Day
This Wednesday, Evan and Kaelyn Yoshizawa will serve as Principals of the day.
Lottery Drawing 5/30 @ 10:30AM in Auditorium
Thursday at 10:30AM we will have our public lottery drawing. All names drawn for a lottery spot will be contacted via phone if not present. All other names will be added to the waiting per our charter lottery process. Families on the waiting list may call next week to find out their waiting list number.
Governance Council Meeting 5/30 @ 2:45PM in Room 28
This Thursday will also be our last Governance Council meeting for the school year, in room 28 at 2:45 PM.
Students Success Awards Assemblies 5/31
Friday will be our Student Success Awards Assembly for the third reporting period. Recipients will be honored in the Auditorium as follows.
- TK-2nd beginning at 8:15AM
- 3rd- 5th beginning at 9:00AM
PTA Dine Out- Chuck-E-Cheese
Our last PTA Dine Out for the school year will be a big one this Friday at Chuck-E-Cheese in Granada Hills, on San Fernando Mission Blvd. Twenty percent of the sales will go to our school. Please see the eBackpack for information and coupons. See you there!
This week’s character focus will be on responsibility. Boys and Girls, it is your responsibility to control your choices, words, actions and reactions. Let’s choose this week to do the things that make ourselves and others better. With everyone being responsible, we continue to create a culture of care and excellence.
