Our biggest fundraiser of the year "World's Finest Chocolate" fundraiser begins this week on January 23rd until February 7th.
All funds raised will go towards a Computerwisekids Instructor. This program is used at 26 schools in the Greater LA area, including neighboring Elementary schools and is on the wish list of all of our teachers here at Topeka.
We can make this happen if each student sells just one box of chocolate! The more you sell, the more prizes you accumulate. The class that sells the most will also win prizes. More information on the Computerwisekids program is below.
Attached you will find the permission form and prize flyer. Permission forms went home with each student last week and can also be found in the main office.

Computerwisekids integrates classroom work with technology. Students create projects using an array of software. With their technology program, students learn the key to strong research skills for science, social studies and language arts. Projects are based on the Common Core standards. Students work on writing, researching, building graphs, creativity with art and building models with 3D software. The curriculum also includes robotics, directing and producing newscast/movies, basic programming skills, using the cloud and lessons on good digital citizenship. Students can access their award winning typing tutor available to them 24/7 online to practice to improve their typing skills and parents can view our digital gallery to share their children’s e-portfolios.
