Good evening, families! This is Mrs. Stevens, with this week’s Sunday Minute.

 

Tiger Trot PTA Fundraiser

Tigers, our Virtual Tiger Trot event presented by Topeka Drive PTA and the California Credit Union happens this week! Do you want to see your teachers and staff participate in their favorite fitness activities? Join us on Wednesday, October 7th between 3pm-6pm, when you can watch pre-recorded videos of this year's annual "Tiger Trot" and raise funds by completing your favorite fitness activities. All pledges collected will benefit the Computerwise program. Please help us reach our goal of $20,000, as every dollar donated to this fundraiser, stays here at Topeka SAS and is tax-deductible for our donors. Fundraising continues through Friday, October 9th. All students that collect pledges at the $75 and $150 pledge amount, will receive a BJ's Restaurant child's meal certificate and have the opportunity to attend the "Tie Dye" dance party; parent permission is required and we must have the child’s parent authorization prior to logging on (signed permission slip). Lastly, we have cool raffle prizes, such as: a mini Sega Genesis, Robeks, Nintendo Switch Lite, 2 tickets to Universal Studios, Whole Foods, Yogurtland, 2 tickets to Six Flags Magic Mountain and 1-$500 Great Wolf Lodge gift certificate and many more! Choices Application Window is Now Open- 10/2- 11/13

Parents, it is that time again.  The LAUSD School Choices Application window is now open until November 13, 2020.  If your child/children are attending Topeka, as a result of the Lottery and you have other children you are looking to enroll here, YOU MUST complete a choices application for your incoming child/childrenSibling preference will only be given to those students whose Lottery application was submitted on or BEFORE November 13th.  All late applications will be placed on the waiting list WITHOUT sibling preference.
